Prototype & testing
A working prototype.
A clear path to launch.
We have built a working prototype. We are refining the system and preparing our launch in Washington State, northeastern Oregon, and western Idaho.
Current stage
Built. Running. Developing.
Our prototype brings together the elements behind EmberHalt’s approach: sensing, real-time fire modeling, controls, and exterior water delivery. Our next step is to turn that working system into a defined installation and service offering.
We have not published quantified wildfire-protection results or independent validation on this site. A working prototype establishes that we have built a system; it does not establish how every property will perform during a wildfire.
Testing priorities
Measure the complete system.
These are the questions we need to answer as we refine the launch offering:
- Water delivery: how supply, pressure, flow, coverage, and runtime interact at a property.
- Sensing and timing: how changing measurements and public information influence deployment decisions.
- Controls: how activation, manual operation, and operating limits work together.
- Readiness: how power, connectivity, maintenance, and seasonal conditions affect operation.
This list describes our development priorities, not completed test results or product certifications.
Published field evidence
What one wildfire report found.
A 2008 Minnesota Department of Natural Resources report examined 104 threatened homes, cabins, and businesses in the Ham Lake Fire area. Its table recorded 46 survivors and 1 loss where a sprinkler system was working, 1 survivor and 8 losses where a system failed, and 18 survivors and 30 losses where there was no system.
Ham Lake Fire structure outcomes
Counts from Table 1 of the report · n = 104 structures
This comparison is historical observational evidence, not a controlled experiment or a guarantee of future performance. The report notes that defensible space and other conditions also mattered, and it includes one disputed case in the functioning category.
Evidence
Show the work behind the claims.
We will add photographs and demonstrations of the actual prototype as they become available. When we publish measured results, we will explain the setup, conditions, observations, and limits so readers can assess what the evidence supports.
The illustrations elsewhere on this site explain the concept. They are labeled and do not depict a completed EmberHalt installation.
Launch interest
Start with a conversation.
If your property is in our launch region, contact Ryan with its general location and your questions. We can discuss your interest while installation schedules, specifications, and pricing take shape.
An inquiry is not an order, a reserved installation, or confirmation that a property is suitable.

Our 10-minute questionnaire helps us understand your property, wildfire concerns, and what you need from a protection system. It is an initial conversation, not an order or a site assessment.
